  • Beschrijving: Rena’s father insists on marrying her off to the son of a shipowner. Rena, however, doesn’t even want to hear about it, so she runs away and disguises herself as a boy named Pipis. As such, she meets a poor fisherman, Lefteris, and helps him on his way to Ioannina. When Lefteris discovers Pipis’ secret, he feels love growing inside him. Due to a misunderstanding, Rena thinks that Lefteris is helping her in order to collect the reward offered by her father - so she leaves him. Lefteris, however, really loves her and manages to cancel her wedding with the son of the shipowner and persuades her to follow him – which Anna gladly does, since she is now in love with him too.
